hi im somerset !! i’m a singaporean student and aspiring future ornithologist who would rather go on scratch than go outside /silly
i enjoy birdwatching, reading, art and music related stuff, watching movies with my friends and basically anything that lets me hold off doing work for one more minute. do not be like me guys please be studious if you’re in school.
some media that i enjoy are theatre shows/musicals (eg. newsies, into the woods, cabaret, legally blonde), some really good shows and movies (project hail mary, the good place, gravity falls, the oldest view (i really like all of kane parsons’ stuff but i’ve only seen tov as of now!)), a few games (the stanley parable, reverse 1999, untitled goose game) and the best thing ever aka the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy , im the number 1 ford prefect glazer ok
i listen to a lot of music. there is no such thing as too much music though but it is a lot! i think my chatroom has a list of very prominent musical genres and artists i listen to!! ok if i had to list One i would say conan gray because his music will be very integral to wishbonekit’s story, but i won’t say any more until we get there…

ok here let me confess a confession. my activity on scratch has been falling greatly due to real life responsibilities and school and stuff, and it’ll definitely get worse when next year rolls around due to my o-level exams. however, i’ll still try my best to be active enough to give wishbone the fulfilling life she deserves! i hope to get my activity at around a 3-5 out of 10 if i win wishbone.

. roleplaying experience, any past gens characters

i’ve been roleplaying on scratch since 2020-2021, on my previous account @cocoabuttermochi. i usually tended to join much smaller rps that died out pretty easily, though during this era i made a character in the very popular tfcrp, who got deleted due to my activity dropping. from 2022 to 2025 i went on a long hiatus due to my studies, and i soon returned to roleplaying once skyclan got added to tfcrp, rejoining with the late melodiousfloat of skyclan! in may of 2025 i won warblehaste of shadowclan who also is now dead, in september of 2025 i won foxglovefrond who is very much alive and having a big serious plot (her first litter just closed! wowza!) and earlier this year i won wrenpaw of thunderclan! in other rps, i play puppeteercrag (loerp) and analogypaw (astr). i formerly roleplayed on roblox on that one warrior cats roblox game, and now i’m plotting future characters for dtfc! (trillingpaw and bygone__ represent)
i haven’t had any previous characters in generations, so if i win wishbone she’ll be my first character in this rp! excite!

although i never directly interacted with anything gens related (except for a few designs every now and then), i did observe what was going on at a distance, so the mossclan revival thingy was pretty interesting to me! despite this, i was still not too keen on joining until i viewed the litter designs on chaos, and wishbone immediately caught my eye! i really love stuff that relates to lucky symbols/charms, and the wishbone is one of my favourites, not to mention her design is SO CUTE HELLO??? so i’m finally shooting my shot at joining gens through wishbonekit shes so baby im tearing up

synopsis and philosophy

eternally sweet and loving. wishbone, despite how timid and eternally scared she is of everything she seems, is a cat full of love and care, but doesn’t know how to express it well. she always either loves too much, or is so fearful of getting hurt that she gives too little love.
her philosophy is based on superstitions of luck, and her demeanour changes on how luck treats her.
bonnie views herself as both the wishbone that is broken for fortune, and the one who breaks the stick, depending on the situation.
to others, she acts as the wishbone, endlessly giving everything to them. a subservient doll who will try forever to make the other cat’s wishes come true. it’s her purpose, after all. even when she’s broken, snapped to only a few fragments, she will smile and she will continue to cling onto the person she’s supposed to bring luck to. as long as they get their wish.
as the one who breaks the wishbone, bonnie views herself as the reason why luck sways either for her or against her. it’s her fault if life isn’t going her way. she broke the wishbone, and she got the short end of the stick. it’s only fate.
when she ‘gets the long end of the stick’, wishbone sees herself as the lucky one. lucky wynne is more outgoing and snarky, and surprisingly has a backbone and can stand up for herself. still empathetic and loving, but having actual confidence alongside it. she’s a very cool kid in general but when she perceives herself as lucky, she actually can see herself for what she is, which is (hopefully) a well-rounded and nice person.
however, it’s an entirely different story when she ‘gets the short end of the stick’. the entire world is against her, and she knows it. wishbone, now the luckless one, will basically lose a lot of hope when fate goes against her. unlucky wishbone basically has the belief that everyone’s highkey out to get her and is more paranoid, reserved and ‘needy’, always seeking validation and a chance to redeem herself and make luck sway in her direction. on first impressions unlucky bones is more closed off but still polite and kind

what is a bobtail? how does it affect wishbone?

a bobtail is caused by a genetic mutation that makes wishbone’s tail stubby and short. although most bobtails are usually healthy, the mutation that causes wishbone’s bobtail can increase her risk of spinal issues. if wishbone develops these spinal issues as she grows, it would give her difficulties in walking and jumping up. another issue that wishbone is in risk of is hip dysplasia, which occurs when the hip joint is lax and can cause arthritis. arthritis causes cartilage to be damaged, which causes inflammation and pain in wishbone’s joints. several issues will happen, in wishbone’s case her most prominent symptoms would be swollen joints, stiffness, muscle wastage, limping and not taking enough care of her fur which makes it matted

how would i roleplay wishbone, in lieu of her bobtail?

wishbone, for most of her life, would not have much issues due to her bobtail other than a tiny limp from her spinal issues. however, her limp doesn’t affect her life much and she can live quite peacefully as long as she visits the medicine den when it acts up. as she grows older, however, (so around warrior age) her spinal issues continue to worsen and she develops hip dysplasia and thus arthritis. after this, she would have pain in her limbs, which makes her limp worse and her body will become stiffer. it would be difficult for her to do warrior duties due to her limb and body pain, thus she may decide to retire early or decide to just help around in camp.

wishbone would adore her father, she sees him as kind and sweet and would be very interested in his lessons despite her likely becoming a warrior. she is super appreciative of his encouragement for her and her siblings to be unique and special and really looks up to him.

mother : glasswinglaurel (bonnie would call her mama!)
glasswing is a beacon of light and comfort in wishbone’s life. wynne admires her loyalty and pacifism, and would try to emulate her as much as she can. she hates to admit it, but glasswing’s probably her favourite parent. bonnie knows that if anything happened to her, glasswing would be the first to know. bonnie’s a mama’s girl awwww

siblings :
pyrite (py, riley) : wishbone’s only older brother. she thinks it’s kinda funny. riley is very interesting to bonnie, and she really likes following around and being his ‘right hand’. he’s older than her, after all. surely he should be a good leader, a good cat. that’s what she hears about all older cats. she has a naive admiration for him.

lodestone (dee, lo (@drizzlinq-skies’ concept of lodestone btw!)) : wishbone is really affectionate with her youngest sibling, but he is most odd, is he not? she sees him giving her gifts all the time, ‘good luck charms’, he calls them. not only that, he allows himself to be pushed around, doing anything she asks of him. bonnie doesn’t like doing this much, she perceives it as strange. but most importantly, dee’s quite like her, in a sense. they both want to fulfill wishes, no matter what happens to themselves. she feels an odd sense of comfort from it.
