if it did it would have to be a dark red for color contrast (assuming you mean the header/usual purple parts, unless they changed the colors on the rest of the site too that would increase contrast)
other than that i feel like support for this suggestion would be very opinion-based because some people just like red better and some don't, so i don't think this is anything to be strongly for or against other than for accessibility reasons

ok so thinking about this again, i've found some specific reds that would be better for accessibility (from what i understand & the info of a certain website made to educate people about web accessibility)
basically anything darker than this color of red would be best (though probably still not perfect because i know nothing about the different types of colorblindness and such) if scratch keeps the white in this suggestion, if you wanted them to change the white to a different color as well then i can try to find something that would work with that too

If I remembered correctly, a few years ago Scratch was blue (y'know, the blue you see when projects are loading). They did it to improve visual accessibility. I doubt they'll change it again in the near future. See more here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/695488/?page=1

But if you personally want a red Scratch, then you can consider getting *some extension that you have to find out for yourself* which has a custom website and editor color feature go on Turbowarp which has custom editor color features.

Yes, red is a nice color. Do people like red? Yes. And hummingbirds too. They like red. But does everyone like red? No.
If you’re talking about red red, then I don’t think anyone would like it.
If you’re talking about Turbowarp red, then maybe.
Perhaps a website theme option could be added here (and could be combined with the dark mode suggestion as well.)

Not everyone likes red, red being a better color is subjective.
As others have brought up, the current color is supposed to be accessible for people with vision issues.
Even people without vision issues (like myself) don’t like overwhelming colors sometimes.
Also I’m pretty sure this is a troll suggestion.
