about me.

heyo there! i'm raat and i use it / its pronouns. i'm a silly little chronically overthinking loser based in pacific standard time. also, along with this, i'm librafeminine so she / her is also alright, though it / its is much more preferred so please only use she / her if we're close or you're unsure about what i go by.

i'm a huge fan of anime though i'm relatively new to the anime community. i'm always looking to find new ones so please reach out with recommendations! currently, i'm #obsessed with ramparts of ice, shangri-la frontier, and assassination classroom! they're all so cool! besides this, i play both tennis and volleyball, though i do have to say i'm only okay at volleyball.

—– zenithplight is my first character in the four clans roleplay. it sort of… represents what i wish i could be. they're confident, charismatic, but slightly obsessive. it has not fear and masks her true intentions carefully. it was my first introduction to the four clans and i think that after roleplaying with it for a while, i'm ready to take on a second character and try and get really into the roleplay, delving into the mechanics, as zenithplight is honestly a bit of a basic and average character — which is what i needed them to be at the time — but now i'm ready for a change in pace and a fresh kit to get into this with!

activity + longevity.

i'd say that i'm quite active. i'm mainly on here for art and roleplaying and i'm on at least once a day for thirty < minutes. so… with all of that in mind, i'd give myself an eight out of ten ( 8 / 10 ) but with school starting soon, it may go down to a seven and a half to eight, fluctuating quite a bit. i don't have plans to leave anytime soon so i'm hoping to make the most out of this.

i always try to give my characters deep lore and a long, happy life. despite this, i also know that motivation problems, real life issues, and other miscellaneous concepts can get in the way. if i ever need to kill off serein for real life problems, i will, and i do hope that is alright. although this is a prospect, it will most likely never happen and i will do my best to keep serein alive.

which kit + why.

i'm applying for serein. her design is absolutely stunning and i think that after having a signed up character, it's only right to have a kit from a litter. besides this, the idea of a “golden child” and “forgotten child” trope to be extremely interesting idea, specifically for the forgotten child. that's one of the key points as to why i'm applying.

personality.

mindless wanderer. .
— serein's mind and mask. she sees herself as this. her body and “ghost self” so to speak are forces grappling with each other for control over her body. as a result she can often feel like she is a mindless traveler, moving without respite or resolution. her movements are often mechanical and without fluidity, and she struggles to feel like she is in control, or honestly just adapt to different situations in which fluidity of mind and soul are required as when this happens, her mind gets a chance to be honest and brutal.

— this part of serein is the part she shows to the world. it's calm and soothing and constantly drifting. she likes to keep the world at bay and uses this part of her to do so. it's not her true self, but merely an illusion used to maintain the image of perfection while her mind rots on the inside. for you see, she longs to be calm and at peace, but the pieces of her keep tearing and screeching for her to be truthful and brutal, which leads to an inner conflict that she tries her hardest not to display.

the restless ghost. .
— the “ghost self” i mentioned previously is somewhat like this. it's her mind, screaming for a way out of a body that often disobeys what her true intentions are. she's terrified on the inside because her “vessel” doesn't listen. it's an internal conflict that she must resolve, but with no way to do so, she at times, leaves her body on autopilot and drifts off into a land in which she is untroubled by the perfect and idealistic ways of her body. one where she screams and lashes out without reprimand.
