Any good, Scratch-safe Youtube alternatives?

So, a few days ago I got a message to both of my Google account mails (one of which nobody knows about and I never signed up for anything with, except for keeping it as a backup email and YT) that said if I don't verify my age be either providing my card number or ID within 14 days, they'll lock my Google account and consider it for deletion.

Obviously I'm not doing that, I value keeping anonymous to a certain degree online. I wouldn't hand out things like that, not only to individuals, but MUCH less to a corporation known to be invasive with data. I was already on the very edge of distrusting them, and now feel downright exploited. So I'm moving all my YT stuff to some other video website and changing all the links on Scratch.

So yes that brings me to the topic question. Anybody who's familiar with the indie web got any suggestions? Ideally it should:
  • Be able to add links to Scratch descriptions without being blocked (well, this one is a requirement)

  • Have a somewhat safe environment, similar to YT. Like something that isn't 90% Scratch unsafe

  • Have an embed page that I can link, so no comments and other stuff ST wouldn't want is shown (not like the one in Scratch itself, obviously. I think YT is the only thing that has such)

  • Be an indie website solution, that is not doing the same shady practices as Google!
Of course these are quite specific things, so I don't need something that fulfils any of them other than the first. I also don't know if I'm getting a response to this anytime soon, but it would be much appreciated if you could bump this topic even if you don't know so it floats around the top. Anyways thanks and stay safe online, we need it these days!

Also yes, I'm getting rid of Google Chrome and all other Google services. They've screwed me over enough for me to decide this.

Idk, it really sucks that people are seeing id verification as some solution to literally everything.

Is that a Jewish website? Because 613 is a very Jewish number to use (I'm Jewish)

It doesn't seem to be exclusively or explicitly Jewish, but it is linked by a handful of Jewish websites

It almost certainly is. Anything with that number is Jewish. (There are 613 commandments in the Torah)

Should say that I'm looking for something similar to YT. As in I can upload videos to and share, not just a YT alternate front end.
Thank you though!

Problem is that age verification and social media bans are being so overused that all the lesser known alternatives will get hit as well, it's onlya temporary sulution. I don't know any specifically scratch safe ones.

Watching YouTube videos on 613Tube
Watch any YouTube video on 613Tube and you'll get to see the video you want, without any distractions. No related video suggestions or comments there to drift you away. Just get the video you want, nothing else.
From now on, anytime someone sends you a YouTube link, just replace “youtube.com” with “613tube.com”, and you will see the same video, just in a cleaner atmosphere.
Example: https://www.613tube.com/watch/?v=LXQcrsS1PzM
Also, before sending a YouTube link to a friend, be kind enough to correct the link so that he too will get to fully enjoy the video in the clean atmosphere.
613Tube Video Search
Now you can search YouTube through 613Tube. 613Tube uses the regular YouTube search engine, with YouTube's SafeSearch feature automatically enabled and our very own Community-Based Filtering system.
Community-Based Filtering
613Tube users (like you) are constantly improving our advanced video filtering system. Whenever an inappropriate search result shows up, just click the “Red Flag” at the corner of your screen to remove a video from future searches.

Honestly disagree with this, I think the indie web will always thrive. There will always be a new website that pops up unless we ban web development and hosting from humankind.

That's… literally what I said I didn't need in the post you quoted?

I wish it would let me in.. I'm literally an adult

Anyway, I was able to watch it (w/o giving that).. and I don't get why this video is age restricted but then some of the other related videos on this channel aren't

(a bunch of stuff from that website)
No let me elaborate on what the topic creator is talking about
The problem is that their YT account was pretty much deleted by Google and they're trying to reupload and share videos, so they can't really just use a website that simply uses videos from YT

The top YouTube alternatives where you can upload and host your own video content include
  • Vimeo for professional portfolio work,
  • Rumble and Odysee for independent creator publishing,
  • and decentralized options like PeerTube.

Mainstream & Professional Platforms

  • Vimeo: Best for high-definition, ad-free professional hosting, filmmakers, and businesses, though free upload limits apply.
  • Dailymotion: A long-standing traditional video-sharing hub with a global audience and fewer strict content constraints.
  • Fcebk(aka you-know-what): Meta's native video ecosystem supports long-form uploads, shorts, and built-in audience tracking.

Independent & Creator-Focused Platforms
  • Rumble: A popular alternative emphasizing free speech, independent news, and creator monetization.
  • Odysee: Built on blockchain infrastructure (LBRY), offering a familiar YouTube-like layout and decentralized storage.
  • Patreon: Allows direct video uploads to share exclusive content securely with paying subscribers or communities.

Decentralized & Open-Source Options
  • PeerTube: A federated, peer-to-peer network where you can self-host your own independent video node outside of corporate tech control.
  • Internet Archive: Ideal for permanent, public, non-commercial video storage, though it lacks an active recommendation algorithm.
If you'd like to narrow down the best platform, tell me: What is the main topic or type of your videos (gaming, business, vlogs, short-form)? Are you looking to make money from views or just need free storage?

You do realise that I can and have done a basic internet search
I've already heard about and looked into most of these
My original post was asking if there was any anybody here on Scratch is familiar (use or heard about) one and like personally
I never thought of using Internet Archive though, that's a good idea actually
Also apparently there's some pretty shady stuff that goes on in a few of those sites, I don't want to be a part of that
Please don't just throw the topic name into AI if you want to answer the question, actually read my post
But regardless I appreciate you taking the time out to try and help.
(Sorry if this comes off as rude I'm more just “mildly annoyed” because you're trying to find a solution while not knowing the problem)

Also hi medians I didn't know you used the 2.0 theme for YT

Ah OK, all good. Sorry about sending that little bit of a ramble, just tired and stuff.

1 I was trying to be slightly funny and show I was slightly annoyed (internet speak I guess)
4 isn't the most obvious to be fair (Though… I would think most people do their research by searching before posting on scratch forums)
7 is kinda a combination because yeah I don't really like AI, but also copypasting an AI result showed only stuff I already knew and seemed like a lack of care, like you were only doing it because “it had to be done”.

Anyways I hope this clears it up and hopefully we can get back on topic!

Strange… in my US state age verification laws were omitted and rejected. However, Vimeo is a good one.

I really do not know any Scratch-safe YouTube alternatives. I guess try 613tube.com

All I have to say to you is good luck in your search, any youtube alternative ive ever heard of is EXTREMELY un-safe for a Scratch environment. What kind of content do you make on youtube?
