You might have heard of the 2025 face sensing extention And also the Video sensing extention
But do they have differences like one thing can do something the other thing can't

VIDEO SENSING came out first and had motion sensing basically
until users made them into games like waving to move a sprite or jumping to score a goal
as your head did not move as fast it is harder to make high motion
so users did not use their head as much instead video sensing was used for purposes like baby monitoring or craziness
Some people added loudness to sense sound too to make small Interactive chatbots but the robots could only guess cuz no Ai was used in them
this extention is in the scratch app

FACE SENSING supported faces more than motion like for making ping pong games or making hats
this extention is still in scratch labs so you can't acsess it from the scratch app
there was still people to add loudness to it but not as many did as you could talk with your head now
they made chatbots with the loudness but even if Ai was there it was even worse than before cuz the head has no verbal language

there is no winner or loser to this as both provide different types of camera sensing and there is no difference for which one is better
that one camera is who evens it out!

It's really nice that you want to help out with a guide! However, we have a number of them in the forums already and we don't have a good way to showcase any more. If you want to make a guide in a Scratch project, that would be fine. You could advertise it in the “Show and Tell” section too.
