FIRST

Ideas so far:
- I was thinking that I could attempt to DM the first campaign to get us off the ground if no one shows interest. If so, I was thinking about making a poll project to see what themes everyone would be interested in and figure it out from there. What do you think?
- I know a site where we can play in real time. We'd just have to find a time that matches up with everyone's agendas and it's probably be on a weekend day. I'm not sure but we'll work it out.

okay! hi! sorry for the lateness, I was transitioning from my house to my grandmother's :')
a poll project sounds cool :0 I was also thinking that if we have too many people, we could do smaller groups instead of one big one. there's a chance we won't need to do that though haha
another site could be interesting.. I don't want to exclude people who can't do other sites, though, so perhaps let's attempt to figure something out on scratch first? a project for each campaign / day could be interesting… if you think this is a good idea, I can whip up an example on my alt!
and would we want to have someone else join the planning? I was thinking maybe elly since she brought up the idea? i'm also good with keeping it just the two of us though!

also I thought of some other ideas!
should we simplify some of the more complicated dnd aspects, such as character sheets, to make it easier for newer people to understand? it can be quite intimidating at first ;-; either way, i figured we'd do this in a similar way character creation in cabins goes: projects and remixes :> we can give a template that has explanations for new people to understand easily, and we could also let people put a classic character sheet in!
I also tested out the comment-based strategy, and it works pretty well! i'll send you a link in a moment ;D

also skylar said she'd like to be a player so far you're the only person (I could be wrong lol i'll check that in a moment) who's expressed interest in dming, which is either good or not amazing depending on if we end up doing multiple groups!

Multiple groups could work! We could make a “DM forum” (kinda like a leader forum) and have them share their ideas and set up separate campaigns? Idk. Multiple groups sounds great!!

a dm forum sounds good! we could have different genres for each of them, maybe, and see what everyone wants! then maybe a camper signups thing but less formal lol
some genre ideas:
fantasy (I know dnd is typically fantasy but just straight fantasy here)
adventure
comedy
sci-fi / dystopian
basically any swc cabin genre that's not a form of writing specifically (epistolary, script, poetry, etc)

I forgot lol but summer also mentioned wanting to wait a bit! I think 3-4 groups would work good hehe depending on the amount of people that end up joining– I think three groups for the current amount would be good :>

yes! that's what I was thinking. When I think of genres of D&D stuff I think more of the type of adventure. Is it the typical castles and dragons fantasy affair? or an old western spin off? or a pirate thing? or even a top-secret spy/ secret agency thing? More of the theme and what they do with it

Yeah I think the only thing we want to do is make sure that no two campaigns are exactly the same.
I was also thinking the studio we have right now is like “Adventurer HQ” and there's all these portals to different campaigns (not many right now though). I was also thinking they could run their campaigns through forums or projects
