Ideas for an Idea

I am currently creating a survival game where you start in one of a few zones, and then gather resources unique to that zone and then warp to a new zone. The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible, as the longer you stay in a zone, the more enemies spawn in that zone. The last zone will have a portal of sorts that will allow you to warp back by one zone.

I, however, need more ideas!

This is where you come in!

Please answer as many of the below questions as you can.

Be creative!

Zones
What zones do you think would be interesting? Each zone will have unique resources and be a different experience.
Should zones have variants?
Should all zones be available every game?
Would zones be unlockable?

Resources
Should each zone always have better resources than the one before it?
Should there be resources that don't have very many uses, and are instead used for specific things?

Teleporters
What should these teleporters be represented as?
Would you need to do anything to activate these teleporters?
Should you be able to skip over zones? If so, what penalty would you take?

Enemies
Should each zone have a different type/faction of enemies?
Should some zones have similar or the same factions?
Should you be able to fully eliminate these enemies to “win”?
What enemies should there be?

Weapons
Should there be ranged weapons?
Should you be able to fully custom-build weapons or would there be generic weapons?

Magic
Should magic be a feature?
If so, how would it be accessed?

Structures
Should structures generate?
Should you spawn in a camp of sorts, with starting loot inside?
Should enemies come from structures?

Name
Possibly most importantly, what should the game be called?

Notes
The game is intended to be fantasy - so no firearms or modern technology. That said, steampunk alternatives (e.g. a rapidly firing crossbow as opposed to a firearm) are definitely allowed.

If you answer any of these questions, thanks a ton. If you don't, thanks for having a look.

Good luck with whatever you may do!
