ScratchStats - Scratch Analytics Website

Welcome to ScratchStats — Suggestions, Feedback & Community Forum

ScratchStats was created following the shutdown of ScratchDB and the resulting end of scratchstats.com. When these community resources disappeared, there was a gap in Scratch community insights and analytics… And ScratchStats (unofficial) was born…

This is a space where you can share ideas, feedback, and suggestions to improve ScratchStats, as well as talk about the site, its features, and Scratch-related stats in general. Whether you’re here to request something new, report an issue, or anything else, this is the place for it.

ScratchStats is a platform that provides detailed insights into Scratch users and projects, including project performance, engagement metrics, and activity tracking. The goal of the site is to make Scratch data easier to explore, understand, and use in ways that can be understood by all users.

You can help shape the direction of the site by sharing feedback such as:

  • New features you’d like to see
  • Improvements to existing stats or pages
  • Bugs or unexpected behavior
  • Ideas for better ways to visualize or explore data
  • General thoughts on usability and design

I would like to add that no suggestion is useless. If you have something in mind that you think could benefit the site for a lot of users, feel free to share it here.

Community & Verification

Isn’t this just ScratchViews?

No — while ScratchStats and ScratchViews may look similar at first glance, they actually focus on different things, and each has its own strengths.

ScratchStats includes some features that ScratchViews doesn’t have, especially around deeper analytics, structured project/user statistics, and broader ways to explore trends across Scratch activity. At the same time, ScratchViews also has its own unique features that ScratchStats doesn’t currently offer…

If you’re curious, it’s worth checking out both platforms and seeing which one fits what you’re looking for better. Some people prefer one, some use both depending on what they need, and that’s totally fine. We're not trying to compete with each other, either. It's just a matter of providing as many resources as the scratch community needs.
