Do you guys use your math skills in your projects?

I mean, I never did..

the high school I'm going to next year doesn't have math levels, but I was in geometry last year.

I'm moving onto pre-algebra next year in seventh grade. I think at least… I don't think I can go any higher than that next year.Or lower…

My school has PreAlgebra Advanced as an option for 7th grade.

I'm taking AP calc (AB) next year along with AP stats…
And AMC 10…

I've been trying to use trig in my projects but what they teach you in school just isn't helpful…

(But I obviously use arithmetic in my projects)

I once used Algebra Mapping to create a cool 80s background, like in Tron, but ended up with a cool art thing.

I'm currently taking what's probably basic algebra for you guys (algebraic equations, factoring). I'm in 10th grade, and should be in 11th - student protests made me lose a year. I have no choice over what math level I take. You go figure how I feel xD

Oh, lol. I once made a trigonometry scroller that allowed for proper scrolling on both axes with any orientation of the main character. It was used for a racing game for Team Antarctica in the Scratch Olympics a few years ago.

I took that last year. :3

Only I was ahead in Honors Algebra Two, and the rest of the kids in my grade were taking Algebra I
But Honors Geometry was easy, if it helps you

I'm taking AP Calc BC next year. (Summer right now <3) I implement the math I know when needed in programming, but most of the time I find easier work arounds. I do use math elsewhere though, outside of programming.

I am not advanced enough to need to use calc.

Calculus is really great. It's actually pretty intuitive and builds on a lot of algebra/geometry subject matter. I think you'll enjoy it when you come to it. I can't really think of any uses for it in Scratch but it's very useful in physics.
