Are "automatic follow bots" even allowed?
I was thinking about how a few months back, in the popular chatroom Different By Design, a member had created 9 or 10 accounts (that looked like normal users; they had a whole about me/wiwo, pfp, etc.) and coded them to follow users on command. A user would simply comment, “!follow @username” (or something like that), and the group of accounts would follow the user. The comment would get a reply like “@username was followed by all ten accounts”. A user could also say “!unfollow @username”, and all the accounts would unfollow the user and say “@username was unfollowed by all ten accounts”.
Anyway, this IS pretty cool and fun to mess with. That said, is it even allowed? Does it count as swaying social statistics/bots? Just curious, thxss

No. Userscript accounts (aka bot acc's) are not allowed as well as what the guy above me said

No they are not. It's a waste of system resources and it's tricking the community.
Please report when you suspect that is happening. You may have to use Contact Us and explain the situation in words as there is no specific report option for that kind of thing.
