Lists are there to store multiple information at once. It's like several variables combined into one.

A list can store variables or other information and can keep it in a cloud also. So i could have when green flag clicked add username to list then if i leave and someone else comes and clicks green flag there name will be added after mine. Hope this helps

There are no cloud lists yet. They were removed after the beta.
