Project-based "Bounties" that offer small real-life rewards
What are “Bounties”?
Bounties are inspired from Replit, where users can get paid for developing a program that a company or individual wanted to outsource to a freelancer.
How would it be implemented on Scratch?
There will be a new “Bounties” tab, where every month, 5-10 bounties are put out. Something like this will be shown to users:
Bounty: Create a World Music Guide
Details: Learn about the different types of world music: African Afrobeat, Celtic folk, Arabic music, Indian Raga (Hindustani/Karnatic), and Latin styles like Cumbia and Samba, as well as genres like Balkan brass, Reggae, and Gamelan. Then create a guide that teaches fellow Scratchers about your favorite types of world music.
How to stand out:
-Allow users to play the instruments themself
-Add cultural colors and themes
-Etc.
Reward: The top five users will be given a lifetime Scratch Membership!
Users can submit these projects at the start of every month, and results will be out at the end of every month. The winners will be chosen by either the Scratch Team or by popular vote. Rewards can be inexpensive, such as a Scratch Membership, $10 Gift Card, Scratch Mug, or being featured on the homepage.
Why is it a good idea?
-It promotes friendly competition amongst Scratchers, boosting their sense of community
-Offers unique learning experiences
-Introduces children to how Apps/Programs are created by workers in the real-world, and how to follow a set criteria of requirements and how to apply your own creativity as well

7.8 Official contests on Scratchrejected
Scratchers often host contests about making a certain type of Scratch project, and it has been suggested that the Scratch Team should host an official contest. However, Scratch is not about competition; the Scratch Team would prefer to emphasize the fun of creativity and learning without doing so in a competitive environment. Scratchers are still allowed to host their own contests, but the Scratch Team will not hold any official contests.

if i read this suggestion right, i believe this is rejected:
edit: i got ninja'd for the first time in years
9.7 Scratch achievementsalso i don't think giving actual money for winning a scratch competition is a good idea
Some users have suggested Scratch achievements such as “Created 50 projects” with the idea that this would give users motivation to keep using Scratch. However, this sort of idea does not really fit in with the purpose of Scratch. Some users may use their achievements to determine that they are “better” than other users. This extends to accumulating digital currency or Scratch features from experience on the Scratch website. However, you are allowed to make achievements or digital currency in your own projects, if you like, as long as they follow the policy on pretend currency systems.

I have this feeling you got this idea from Rep!it. Let's be clear: Bounties was the beginning from Rep!it going from an educational website like Scratch to nothing but AI, AI, and AI!!!!

Aside from this possibly being rejected, this just doesn't fit in. Scratch isn't about contests or rewards or money. It's about creativity.
Also, maybe don't suggest features from other for-profit corporate platforms?

Something like this will be shown to users:All Scratch has to do is create a Design Studio for this and it will be done.

What are “Bounties”?Pls don't mention other websites
Bounties are inspired from Replit, where users can get paid for developing a program that a company or individual wanted to outsource to a freelancer.
Anyways this is rejected
Also is it just me or this seems like it was written by ai

Pls don't mention other websitesWe can mention outside websites (like GitHub) as long they fit the SCG (I can link my own website as long as it fits SCG for example)
