New discuss topic (in About Scratch)

i think there should be a “general” for scratch forums. There really isn't any topic section for general discussion

-> New Scratchers: greeting channel
-> Questions about scratch: only asking questions really
-> Suggestions: only providing suggestions
-> Forums is titled “Discuss Scratch” yet there is no place to generally discuss scratch (ex. casual conversation)

I propose there could be a new Discussion topic in the “About Scratch” channel, named “Discussion”, “Scratch General” or “Scratch Chat”
This would be for things like if somebody wanted to talk in forums, create posts discussing new updates or games they like etc.

Half of the issue here is that it “taking away the intended focus of scratch” but i did mention it was scratch general and not just general. the other half doesn't really apply either since its just a forum which would be moderated like the others, it just has a different topic (ex in suggestions your questions will be locked and vice versa)

Additionally if you had an opinion to share or wanted to debate something you don't really have a specific forum for that.

This forum would not be for chatting, it would be for talking about scratch updates or scratch blocks/sprites or scratch features.

general scratch. Talking about scratch, not general discussion. if it were to be used as a general (like non-scratch) it would be dealt with as like in suggestions/questions etc
