Same… Not to mention they won't stop adding parallax projects…
Also the fact that old projects made by inactive users show up makes the explore page into an advertising garden.

Indeed! We should be able to propose projects to be explorable. These old projects aren't show what Scratch is truly capable of and showing outdated animations!

I've known about the explore page fixes since they announced NGP. Still though, they could at least show some better projects for now…

They just promote random bad projects

Okay, I found out that the explore page usually updates roughly every 5 minutes. Sometimes it can be 8 or something. (Might be my PC going to sleep.) If it lands on 5, it is JUST below 300 seconds. like 299.995 seconds. I just made something in turbowarp using extensions that checks the explore page for changes. I have the logs, but the minute part was bugged (forgot to add timer to divide by 60 block) so here you go!

This is in UK time so you may need an converter.

Now weirder stuff is happening.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but sometimes the explore page and search stop working.
I wonder if they might be updating it…
I'm pretty sure the first time they did it, the page was updated to show SLIGHTLY more projects.
The studios part on the explore page actually does seem to work when the other things are broken, somehow.

I hope this gets fixed in the near future, the Scratch Team's probably going to put more restrictions since we all know what happened last time…
Putting that aside, I see no problem with the current Explore page, even if some of the projects are from 2016 or so.

I'm going to give my two cents as someone who is fairly directly affected by this.
My project 3D Empire State Building was curated in 2023 by Dinosaur-Code, and appeared on the front page for a day (anyone here remember the Front Page Curator program?).
For the past few months, it has been on and off the explore page. I've gained a fairly decent number of views, hears, stars, etc. If I'm lucky, people will check out some of my other stuff too. I can't say I don't appreciate having people check out that project.
I have tried to reply to at least some of the comments, most of which are constructive, supportive, or ideas as I requested. There are ads, which is an issue I saw noted up the thread.
I do look forward to seeing a more updated version of the page, but I also can't say I mind the attention
Anyways, just my rambling experience with this.

For some reason, the explore page stopped updating as much. I would love to use my update checker, but I don't have that right now…
EDIT: It changed, but I'm pretty sure it will stay like that for an while.
