- Hi there! I'm Piano or Bird ( though piano is preferred ) and I am your friendly neighborhood cupioromantic! I use she / her pronouns and am between the ages of 10 and 15. I like reading, writing, drawing, and roleplaying and I am in many, many fandoms.
My main fandoms include the Amazing Digital Circus ( Gooseworx and Glitch ), the Naturals ( Jennifer Lynn Barnes ), the Hunger Games ( Suzanne Collins ), and Warriors ( Erin Hunter ) which I have been a part of since second grade! Besides this, I dabble in making animatics and animations, though I wouldn't consider myself a pro and I love to watch figure skating though I can barely stand upright in an ice skating rink myself.

> his future

- As a kit, he will define as male and most likely use he / him pronouns. I plan for him to sort of question what love is during late kithood but be mostly uninterested in the topic and avoid the idea, as he sees it as a somewhat weakness to him.

- As an apprentice he will use he / they or he / they / charade pronouns because I personally think that once he gets his signature acting mask, he will feel a lot more comfortable using charade as a pronoun. Besides that, he might switch to demi-boy or maybe just full on male depending on how his story pans out. During this time, he will question love and eventually settle on demiromantic and pansexual.

- As a warrior, he will use he / they / charade pronouns for sure and will wear his mask everywhere with him which is why he uses charade as a pronoun. Besides this, he will be a full male and possibly demiromantic and omnisexual.

5 ] FUTURE PLOT POINTS

- Once Mime reaches apprenticeship age the vitiligo will start. This is when he will begin to become more self conscious, venturing further towards the kittypet dens. One day, while exploring, he finds a drama mask ( most likely left behind at a play and discarded ) and upon putting it on, feels a lot more comfortable. So, from that day on ( most likely starting at 6-8 moons ) he will wear it everywhere and do everything with it on. He can see through it through the mesh wiring in the eye-slits that have been painted black. Once he falls in love ( if he ever does ) he will eventually take off the mask for them and show them his true face, which I think will be a really cute roleplay if / when it happens!

- I was brainstorming some warrior name ideas and came up with MimeMask or MimeFacade, but personally I like MimeMask better!

> what am i researching?
- I am researching for vitiligo, which I have already researched for but thought it would be best to brush up on my vitiligo knowledge when applying for this preclaim! After all, I want to be able to know how to roleplay this out and not act like I only got vitiligo to make him look cool! Thanks for hearing me out!

> generally, what is vitiligo?
- A vitiligo is “a rare skin condition” ( Hill's Pets ) that can affect an animal's physical appearance. Along with this, an animal's skin will lose its natural pigment, which is what gives them the sort of white - light pink almost - appearance.

> some useful vitiligo definitions
- Maucles are when the area that a vitiligo has affected are less than a centimeter, and called patches if they are more. Along with this, there are a wide-spread amount of kinds of vitiligo. There is generalized vitiligo, which is when a vitiligo spreads across the body in many different places, segmental vitilitgo which is when the vitiligo only affects one place on the body such as hands and feet, trichome vitiligo which is a bullseye pattern consisting of no pigmentation in the center, a little pigmentation on an outer ring, and normal skin color on another ring.

> how does one get a vitiligo?
- The most recorded cases of vitiligo is hereditary, which is when the gene is passed down onto the next generation. Due to the fact that Enchanted had a vitiligo, this is the most plausible case. Despite this, it doesn't quite answer the question. And with this, most scientists speculate that a vitiligo can be caused due to an interference with the melanin-producing cells in someone's body. These melanin producing cells are called melanocytes and they are what gives the skin the color.

> how does this affect most?
- Vitiligo-like spotting is most often apparent at an early age ( so for warrior cats it'd be around early apprentice age ) and will stop around adulthood. A vitiligo usually starts on the hands, feet, and face, but can also develop inside your body like the inner ears, eyes and sometimes even inside the mouth. Larger patches generally stay somewhat in the same spots, but maucles are much more prone to moving around the body.

> how does this affect mime?
- As a kit, this won't affect Mime too much altogether, though he might be more prone to sunburns on his paws and face. He will brush this off as sensitive skin but during early apprenticeship, the spots will begin along his left paw and tail. Then, during later apprenticeship, the vitiligo will spread to his face and ears, possibly even to his shoulders and back paw. The changes coming in all the moons will be a lot for Mime and he will shy away from social confrontation and away from those he admires and loves ( romantically ) because he is afraid of what they will think of him, though he will eventually have to face his fears.
