we are creating an APP (in a scratch project) to allow you to earn points/currency and to review shops affiliated with us.

1.1 What even is ShopX?
ShopX is a review system (or app, per se) for Scratch shops, completely based on Scratch. I'm even thinking of creating a currency system within this app.

1.2 Why are you making a currency system now and what's it going to be like?
Well, I figured, if you're reviewing a shop, might as well ‘tip’ the person who did your order for you! (not intending to change the free nature of scratch shop orders). You can earn these currency points through a clicker game included within the project. It's nothing more than a minigame Haven't decided on the full working *yet*… so you can wait for the updates!!

2. So… how is it helpful?
ShopX intends to make the reviewing process simple for the shop and the customer. Here's how:
a. provides a simple system where all the customer has to do is enter a unique shop code to give their review in the form of stars.
b. also provides an interface for a shopowner to enter their shop's code and see the status of their shop (on the basis of reviews).

3. Why the name “ShopX”?
Well… it sounds like SpaceX, sooo yeah!

You can discuss queries and concerns about the “app” here, provide suggestions, perhaps volunteer to help out!

I'm also looking for someone who will manage the federation thread (within requests) as this is an app for the ShopX federation.

How do shops sign up?

FIRSTLY! This will happen in the future after the non-buggy demo version is out. Which is why you can't see any forms.

Anyhow, there are some pointers for you to know about regarding this. Consider it the….

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION

1. ONLY ONE SCRATCHER will be given an account to access to view the registered shop's profile. It could be (a.) the owner, (b.) a staff from the shop, or (c.) a scratcher trusted by the owner.

2. Incase you need to change the handler of your shop's ShopX profile, both the owner, current handler (if not the owner) and the new handler to testify that they are aware and willing of the change.

3. The account handler will be provided a unique 7-digit shop code for logins. This same code should be shared with customers to enter their review!

Hello! What are you going to work on for ShopX?

Wait, have you though instead of having a project, you could have an actual app, or website, I can help with a website but not with an app cos I don't know kotlin or swift

Why don't we have a website like this here, you login with Scratch and people add shops then shops are approved by admins to become public, people write reviews and put stars to rate shops and you can comment on shops, and etc, just open the site.

ooh, a website sounds cool! (this is @StarryDove's alt that I'm using these days for shop management but i'd much rather not login and logout so don't mind me)

update- i just checked the website and it looks so cool! so if we're gonna do a website then @MyScratchedAccount could work on the website UI?? if you are able to do so? (the vibes and aesthetic of the website should match that of the banner)
