Good point. I can't imagine a kid permabanned for saying “I got a 67 on my science test so I'm grounded and can't use Scratch.” or saying “There are 67 sprites in this game.”

No, bad memes do not cause reduced intelligence.

But, even if 67 was banned, there are a lot of workarounds to override the ban.

Every source I have seen states that the joke of 67 is that there is no meaning to it. Unless that changes (which it might), there is no need to “ban” it.
