I find it very hard for new Scratchers to get views. Some people make really good projects! (Not me!) But the scratch featured page is just the same old repetitive projects that only want clicks. Also, no offense, but your tutorials fail to teach anything. Make a useful tutorial. A tutorial to make platformers would be awesome! Just consider these, okay? Thanks for reading.

Doesn’t Griffpatch have tutorials on platformers already? And multiple people have made platformer engines.

Back in my day, it was way worse. Even though I agree it could be better, if you were Scratch in my time, boy oh boy you have no idea how much worse it was.

Before, 25% of featured projects were simple dress-up projects. The title would be “XXX Creator” like Ice Cream creator! Or Polar Bear creator, something like that. And 100% (rounded to nearest percent) were users from English-speaking countries. The explore page was english-speaking only. It was quite discriminatory and very biassed. That's the reason why I speak English a lot even though where I live English literacy rate is like 16%.

Now, it is much better than it was. The ST agreed to stop featuring the same things. They feature other countries. And the explore page is for a variety of different users.
However, still not really much from Turkiye (with an exception of late 2025).

Hmm, yes, I do agree. But by tutorials, I mean those sucky coding tutorials when you click create.

I'm mixed. When I started using Scratch 5 years ago, I don't think the tutorials really helped me make an idea, I got the idea from a project I found when I searched “Untitled.” Also, I do feel like if you engage you can get attention, but it does feel like random projects that took 2 hours to make overshadow months of work
