collaboration?

hear me out. if the scratch team made either:
  1. a feature that allows you to invite other scratchers to collaborate (this can be through the scratchers followed, following, search up a username, or a combination thereof)
  • OR a separate site that is almost the same as scratch in the project making aspect, except that you cannot share projects and you can invite people to your project to collaborate (in the profiles, there can be a “your collaborators” section and you can add them by sending them a request). you would not have to make a new account but instead it would use the database or whatever of scratch and use that for the site login stuff. you could also download the project and share it on the scratch site andd it would always give credit ot othe other scratchers. obiously its more complicated than this but still.

in all these senarios the owner would be able to control who can do what and other.
uhh so yea. this was my shower thought btw.

2.1 Adding users to work on projects
Having multiple Scratchers work on the same project would be difficult to moderate not only due to technological limitations but also because it could lead to private messaging; for more information, see #8.1 on this list. This includes live editing (similar to Google Docs) and other forms of private collaboration. If you would like to work on a project with another Scratcher, you can remix each others' projects.

At the moment, a turn-based collaboration system for shared projects is NOT rejected. You can discuss it on this topic.
