Frankly, the bitmap editor is pretty worthless without the ability to overlay a pixelgrid above it and at the very least, we should have the old gray/white checkerboard background. This would make it easier to design pixel art within the editor.

EDIT: I'M STUPID the whole background started out painted white so I didn't realize I could erase to have the checkerboard >.>
