i genuinely don't understand why people need alta

roleplay, name snipes, stopping people from making impersonation accounts, a account who stuff they don't think fits the main, a account just in case they want to move to a different account

I dont use my alt account often but

Some people use them to test things

Some people use them to make an arg

Some people uh… use them for spambots (its bannable though, just in case someone wants to do this)

people mostly use alt accounts to back up projects, get more views, they just have a school account, or they do different types of projects on them

• Making a new account to move from the past
  Start over
  Secret account (Lets say your main has 1000's followers and you want to interact with ppl w/o 1000 messages in your inbox)
  Different purpose
  

This account was made as an alt but I decided to make this a main
My first acc was made to use Scratch
2 of my accounts were made for art stuff and coding stuff (altho I don't rly use these anymore and am prob just gonna put all my projects here or on my first acc)
2 of my accounts were nameswipes from a trend
I have a backup account as well

All what the people said above me but I mainly use alts for namesnipes, pranks, different languages, ARGs etc.

For me, it is if I get false muted (like I once put er right after the word eat and i got muted for 2 hours, does anyone know why this happened, lol)

Main account is like a “showcase account” where I put all my best stuff.

Alt account is for experiments and throwaway projects and remixes and things that I don't feel are good enough to be on my main account.

Also it used to be useful for testing cloud projects, to have 2 accounts.

alt acounts are uselly for things that are not good enough for the main one, like unfinished projects, or testing new ideas.
