⤿ Hello one and all! I'm Luka, a scottish-british-german autistic roleplayer (I originally lived in the UK but then we moved all the way dwn to Germany :skull:…) I'm a sucker for game development, biology, history and literature. I started reading Warrior Cats almost 6 years ago and since then I'm a proud part of the fandom. I spend a lot of time in front of my computer, but that doesn't mean I never go and touch grass! We have a really big garden that' just perfect for climbing and doing quadrobics (I should practise more… haven't done any in half a year) Luckily, silly battle kitties aren't the only cats in my life. I'm the “father” of two wonderful 1-year-old cats named Artemis and Cosmo. I like to call them my wanering sources of creativity since I often find myself taking parts of their personalities and mixing them together with tons of ideas to create a concept for a roleplay character. In fact, I did this for our little Scorpionflykit! Sadly, life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and my mental health isn't really the best right now. I do a lot of things to avoid getting stuck in my own mind so you can find me doing a lot of my hobbies recently to distract myself. These include bouldering, writing, gaming and of course drawing and roleplaying!! This hopefully results in me being very active with my characters (well, it works for Generations and The Four Clans, sooooo) Oh yeah! I'm currently watching Dr Stone and Pokémon Sun and Moon That makes them a part of my current hyperfixations together with the Backrooms, Magic: The Gathering and the Youtuber Spoke :3 But enough of me yapping about me!

⤿ I started roleplaying over three years ago on a different account with a character named Iciclestripe, the most genetically inaccurate cat on earth lol (they had light grey fur with dark grey paws and white stripes :skull: go ask 12-year-old me how I created that… /monster/ lmao) I would say that I'm a rather experienced roleplayer. I've gathered my experience not only here on scratch but also on forum sites like warriorcatsonline and in real life by playing Dungeons and Dragons.

I'm mostly active from 8 am to 1 pm GMT. Also, I have access to over three devices, and only one of them has restrictions through time limits.

⤿ Where do I start. His design is peak, his name, everything has tons of potential for a great character, Scorpionfly has such a cool ring to it! The litter caught my eye and I clicked on it out of curiosity (mainly because I have all my slots filled right now), and now… well. I decided to apply for the little boy. Everything about him is lowkey perfect, expecially the parenting style of Monodyrose!! I thought: what if Scorpionflykit is a little rebel in contrast to his religious, gentle and caring mother?
Now, I had a simple concept already planned out, but I still was unsure about applying (again, I have three beloved characters currently!) So I continued with my day. And Scorpionflykit kept popping up in my head together with a sudden flow of ideas that I was really surprised of. I thought about it, sat down and made a list of reasons to apply, drank a cup of tea and doodled him all over my notes.
When I woke up this morning, I had already made my decision :333 I still have to think about what character I will k1ll off to make space for him if I win Scorpionflykit, but applying doesn't hurt anyone right
I'm applying for Scorpionflykit because he gave me a ton of ideas and concepts I want to try out, because he has a lot of potential and I want to be the person who makes someone great out of him, because of the lore and parenting style of Monodyrose and, yes, let's be honest- because of the /extremely peak/ design!

⤿ Scorpionflykit is an extremely aggressive cat who snaps at every oh-so-little thing. The sun is blinding him? He yells at it. He didn't win at a game of moss ball? Scorpionflykit bites the other cat. It seems like it's everyone elses fault, no matter what happens. And he will always be the victim, swearing he did nothing wrong, swearing that it's not his fault.
Despite his namesake being not toxic at all, Scorpionflykit manipulates the cats around him, seeing them not as what they are- cats like him, clanmates, friends- but as a bridge to get what he wants. He is ambitious and egoistic at the same time, always wanting to be the best of the best. And it looks like it- and Scorpionflykit himself- is never enough. He'll train and work and manipulate as much as he possibly can to reach his goal.
One would expect that he would stop after that, maybe even be grateful for what he achieved- but no. No matter how much one does for Scorpionflykit, how much one sacrifices, one never gets even the smallest of “Thank You”s. He might even become much more snappier than before in fact.
The thing is that this is how he expresses love and respect. Words like “foxheart” and “mousebrain” are being used by Scorpionflykit the way others call their friends “bestie”. He'll tease, curse and hurt you, trying to show his love for you because in his eyes, simply expressing ones feelings by for example words of affirmation is soft and not what a “tough” cat would do.
Scorpionflykit holds his stinger high like his namesake's namesake, always alert, always aware of the things around him. He doesn't easily trust one, making the spikes around his heart even sharper, his love even harder to achieve. Now, one might think that someone with such a hard and pointy exterior as Scorpionflykit must have a soft core that he protects from the gaze of others.
Well… he would laugh at your thought. Spiky on the outside, this cat is even spikier on the inside. Once you get to know him, Scorpionflykit will manipulate you even more until you find yourself doing everything he wants. With pure charisma (and the tool of fear) he turns innocent individuals into his very own servants; however, he doesn't see them that way.
In his cold eyes, every cat on his side is a resource he has to use wisely, every clan mate a figure on the giant chess board that this world is for him. Scorpionflykit is the king, the best of the best, and the rest are worthless peasants that only wander upon this planet to serve for his own needs. However, there's a reason behind his ambitious behaviour.
While Scorpionflykit sees himself as the only danger that has to be feared, he actually is very afraid of his own mortality. Due to that, he wants to achieve as much as he can in his life, willing to do anything for that. To reach his goals, Scorpionflykit will train night and day, never making a pause, doing everything it takes to become the best of them all. Maybe that comes a bit closer to the soft core you imagined before?
A deadly creature in a cat's body, Scorpionflykit sees himself above everyone else. He stings these very others to make them do what he wants them to do, a grin spreading across his face at the sight of all the pain and the chaos he creates. This cat knows how to use his venomous stinger way to good.
