Change the Scratch project screen size

When you run a project, it's normally just a square. I suggest the ability to change it, like make it a rectangle, or a circle (Less likely).

I have a lingering feeling this is a dupe

Support for square and rectangle since I want to animate in yt dimensions. I don't see why we'd need a circular project tho

You can always check.

Anyways, this is possibly a dupe depending on what you're suggesting.

I support since it would give the option to 16:9 or 4:3, however i can't see myself using 16:9 since i like 4:3 haha

But isn't that dupe as well? because This one is earlier

There may be a difference; one of them is suggesting a specific size and one is suggesting the option to change the size.

I agree with this. Having the ability to change the shape of ur screen would be a nice improvement. Especially if ur trying to make a game where ur a lil guy in a circle maze and u just run around.

Support, a rectangle could be good for an animation e.g., “The Scratch Saga”

Oui je pense que ce serait vraiment cool de pouvoir changer le forme de son écran de jeu et même le changer pendant le jeu en fonction de quelque chose :
if <[1] = (foo)> then
Set the screen size to (16:9)
end

Yes, I think it would be really cool to be able to change the shape of your game screen and even change it during gameplay based on something:

if <[1] = (foo)> then
Set the screen size to (16:9)
end

TurboWarp already has this function yet as it says in the docs few projects work with changing the screen size due to costumes simply not usually having a size bigger than 480x360. So I don't see how one would overcome this problem in Scratch.

Maybe they also increase that stuff when changing size? IDK.

By memory it’s 360x480 (whatever one is landscape) so it’s a rectangle

That would look stretched and stretching pictures don't look great.

So you're basically saying that 1.3 recurring is basically the same as 1?
