DANDY'S
WORLD

Description: Dandy's World is a multiplayer mascot horror survival game on Roblox. The goal is to team up as cartoon characters called “Toons” to complete machines and descend deeper into a giant facility. You must avoid Twisteds; monstrous versions of the characters who hunt you as you progress through randomly generated floors.

I'm currently working on a reimagining of Dandy's World using Scratch. My goal is to recreate as much of the game possible in scratch and I need a small team of people to help me since its a big game. Thats what this forum is for.

Note: If someone has (M) in their name it means they MIGHT do it (or do it if needed)

All the staff have responsibilities and things they need to do. Below are the list of things that are needed to be done.

Coders

Make skill checks using clones that are based on percentages
Recode the trinket UI
Make enemy AI (Clones)

Artists

Vectors for the toons that dont have one (Red)
Decoration for the maps (Yellow)
The maps (Red)
Remake elevator map (Green)
Dandy's shop (Yellow)
The card GUI (Green)

Note: Red means it's very important, yellow means it's somewhere in the middle, green means it's of least importance. ALWAYS complete red or yellow before green

Thats actually really great. I like the idea. though it would make coding twisteds a nightmare.

Hello, I am TheOfficialBlahsom and this is my application to be a part of your team for Dandy's World.

1. I do not have any alts (at least none that I use)

2. I would like to produce music for Dandy's World

3. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1285025643. This project has 8-bit music, but I can compose a multitude of music genres (ex: lofi, classical, etc, etc.)

4. My availability is probably from around 4:30-7:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00-7:00 PM on weekends (pst time).

what map are you thinking? Is it 2.5d scroll rpg or something else? I can try to recreate it by checking out the real dandys world map on my computer, and trying my best the recreate it. Also, can I get added to the artist role too while also staying coder? Completely fine if not.

I can get the first set of maps first by 5:30 EDT
(edit) going through the maps and laying them out floor by floor is taking longer than expected (I keep dying at floors)

Lets try learning about Artificial Inteligence, AKA AI, to code Twisteds

can an artist detail this? I'm busy making vectors for the maps and I don't have time to decorate them. once the deco is finished, I can then code it to make it a 2.5d scrolling map that has collsions and all that yadayada https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1291897291/

oh I got the first few maps but what is really bad is transporting it from my pc - to Chromebook - to scratch (edit) also I need a decorate for the map that I posted and maybe make it more brighter colors somehow since its very dark from the overview

Most of the main character posters are done, but you can work on episode posters when you sign the forum
