How come scratch Jr is on iPad but normal scratch isn't? I know there's this thing that apps that create other programs aren't allowed, but how come scratch jr got past that and not normal scratch?

i think it's because it violates the “programs on a program” regarding releasing apps in the apple app store (i might have to get the exact source)

plus scratch jr is used as an education tool

Same could be said abt Scratch. How does one turn a scratch game into an app?

scratch jr’s way of handling games is different than scratch’s. scratch games can 100% be turned into an app using outside tools and stuff whilst scratch jr cannot
