When it comes to copyrights and plagiarism...

Hey, I've been on scratch for a while, on the actual site for less of a while, and have made a couple projects (until they got lost and corrupted) Anyway, I'm making a project and would love to use some music from another producer for one, but I've never done anything like this, and I'm worried that I could get into trouble. If I put the copyright of the producer (All music is copyright…..etc.) Will I be able to do this?

You don't have to do this. We have a fair use thingy. This lets you use the music.
By the way This should go to questions about scratch

Well…that's a bit of a simplification.

If you decide to use copyrighted material - which doesn't explicitly give you the right to use it - you might still have the right to use it by claiming Fair Use, since this is an educational site and there is no money being made. It really depends on whether the copyright owner chooses to contest your use and how a judge might rule, if it every got to court - it's not a well-defined area.
