ACT ONE - INTRODUCTION ]

Welcome one and all! This is The Hanging Tree a primrose application! I am so excited to be joining all of you on this magnificent journey as we delve deeper into Prim, my future plans for her if I win her, and last, but not least, her dynamics with her siblings and family! This is all super cool and I am super excited to be sharing this with you, so hop on in and let's begin!

ACT TWO - ABOUT ME ]

So, most people don't know me, as I'm relatively new to Scratch, but hi! I'm @ ray-the-goober, though I prefer Almond or Ray. I use she/her pronouns, and am in middle school. I mainly use the Scratch bitmap feature to draw, though I am experimenting with Kleki. I love to read, write, draw, and of course, roleplay! I've been roleplaying for almost five years now, mainly on Warrior Cats Ultimate Edition on Roblox, and writing for over five! I've been really interested in joining some of the bigger, more lore-filled roleplays on Scratch, and this seemed like the perfect time to get into one of them with Primrose'kit!

In my free time, I enjoy doodling and playing tennis. As of late, I've been trying to become more active, and I believe that running and playing sports are essential to that. I am also in a few fandoms, some of which include: Warriors, Wings of Fire, Keepers of the Lost City, and Hunger Games! Now, enough about me, let's go right on into the kit!

ACT THREE - WHICH KIT ]

If you don't already know, I'm applying for Primrose'kit! I fell in love with her design, and I believe I would make a great roleplayer for her. I also think that she reminds me a lot of Prim from the Hunger Games, and I could not resist the temptation to have a semi-hunger games based cat in my life! She is so adorable and I would be honored if I won her, though there are a bunch of other amazing roleplayers out there as well!

empathetic :: “ showing an ability to understand and share the feelings of another ”
- Primrose'kit is empathetic. She knows when someone doesn't want her pressing, or when they need pressing. She can't mind-read them, but she tends to pick up body language and demeanor shifts and changes quite well. She tends to stand behind them, not taking the stage, front and center, rather floating in the background, being the supporting actor that everyone needs but they are too afraid to ask for.

socially aware :: “ the act of possessing the ability to accurately perceive, empathize with, and understand the emotions, needs, and perspectives of others ”
- Prim is socially aware. She can sense shifts in the room, body language says it all. The shifting of their weight, the turn of their head, even the slight raise in their voice. She knows when she's stepping on a boundary, and never pushes too hard about what they feel uncomfortable disclosing. Primrose happens to notice subtle changes in the room, and adapts to the changes quite easily, never being too difficult.

- Rose is observant. She notices the little things. The shifts in the weather indicating rain, snow, sleet, or shine. The slight hitch in someone's breath if they're lying, the subtle changes in the prey's movements. She notices, and observes. She watches and tries to help from backstage. Behind the scenes, making sure everything goes smoothly and nothing can go wrong. Primrose finds that everything has a meaning and that differences have big effects.

- Primrose is flexible. She changes depending on others' moods. She can be the kind friend who never forgets your birthday, or the trouble-maker to play pranks with. No matter the situation, she will shift to match the mood. This can lead to some troubles however. Because she is so people-pleasing this makes her a doormat for others to step on as they please. She hesitates, thinking if it matches the vibe or if what she is doing is unnecessary or if it goes against the other cat's wants.

clingy :: “ liable to cling; clinging ”
- Prim is overprotective, almost too clingy. She is constantly asking for validation and praise, though receiving it never makes her feel more confident. She tends to cling to others, giving them extremely liminal space to breath when she isn't around. She is afraid of rejection and will do whatever it takes for the cat to forgive her, even if she was right and they were wrong in the first place.

forgiving :: “ ready and willing to forgive ”
- Primrose'kit is very forgiving. She will take the fault and if the other kit is mad at her, she will do whatever it takes to stop them from being mad at her. She is also very lenient, often forgiving others quickly and not getting truly mad. She believes that grudges are the bane of the clan and that will often lead her to trouble due to the fact that others are not as forgiving as she.

- Rose is short-sighted. She's more of a ‘do now think later’ kind of girl. She lives in the moment, not thinking about consequences or mistakes. She believes that living in the moment and living to the max is the most important thing and that lingering on past mistakes leads to mistakes and regret that she can't afford to waste on herself. So she is very blunt and living in the moment, caring about what's happening now as opposed to later.

co-dependent :: “ characterized by excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner, typically one who requires support on account of an illness or addiction ”
- Rosie is more co-dependent than you think. She depends on others, and thrives in crowds. She hates silence and loneliness, feeling as if there is a void in her heart where cats are. She loves others platonically and adores hanging out and relaxing after a nice long day and just chatting with her siblings and friends about gossip, drama, and more!

sensitive :: “ having or displaying a quick and delicate appreciation of others' feelings ”
- Primrose'kit is easily hurt by words. She takes everything to heart and doubts herself. She likes hanging around cats that think she is worth something and won't hurt her with words and phrases that will linger on her for days. Though she is short-sighted in actions, she is anything but with words. Words sink deeper than a flesh wound ever could, and she avoids emotional confrontation at all costs.

ACT FIVE - DYNAMICS ]

Blushing'kit ( @ svnniva's version ) :: Primrose'kit slows her pace for Blushing'kit. She finds joy in admiring the sights with her sister, and will often support Blushing and pause to braid her fur and decorate it with flowers of all sorts. Though she is usually more calm around Blu, she never hesitates to jump into adventure and wait for Blushing'kit to catch up.

Harvest'kit ( @ Dawnpaw-'s version ) :: Primrose'kit enjoys Harvest'kit's company, and loves to be around her. She finds company and joy when hanging around Harvest. Prim loves the energetic Harvest'kit and will not hesitate to dive headfirst into any shenanigans that the two come up with, often giving Harvest the lead and herself the supporting role, just how she likes it.

Petunia's Beloved ( @ Rain-Whisper's version ) :: Rosie sees Petunia's Beloved as an inspiration, and will try to learn from her. She enjoys listening to her mother and following her lead. Though Rose isn't particularly close with Petunia's Beloved, she still looks up to her and will love her and cling to her until the day she goes to join StarClan.

Wildflower'star ( @ MystiCitrus's version ) :: Prim is a big fan of her father, and will often hang around him, trying to learn what it's like to listen to her clanmates and how to act composed without being arrogant. Mostly, she looks up to him as an inspiration and strives to be like him and empathize with her clanmates as he does.

ACT SEVEN - PLOT IDEAS ]

general plot ]

- I plan for Prim to canonically know how to speak Greek and Chinese as well as English, after she learned from living in Greece for so long and met a cat named “ 美花 ” which in English means “ Beautiful Flower ” and later, Flower will move away with their house folk, so Rosie will slowly begin to speak less and less Chinese. After moving to the world that The Four Clans takes place in, Primrose'kit will begin to speak less Greek as well, speaking primarily in English, but sometimes muttering in Chinese or Greek.

- Prim will grow up believing that there is good in every cat and that all cats have good in them and can often just be misunderstood. She will find a group or a few cats whom she is really close with and call them the Flower Power Squad! She is a very optimistic cat, and I think that could lead to a few adorable golden retriever, black cat type interactions with the cats around her.

- I don't think that Prim would do well in positions of authority, mainly because due to her co-dependent nature and pushover temperament, she would be easily manipulated and torn apart by the weight of her decisions. She would most likely thrive in a background character or medicine cat role, perhaps living a small, uneventful life with some friends and being the one who is both held up and holds up her friends and family.

- Primrose'kit would love to have kits! Her personality definitely allows for flaws in her parenting, but nevertheless, she would be a diligent parent with a fun demeanor, though she wouldn't discipline her kits very well, often letting them wander and only scold them mildly, forgiving them really easily and not really tending to be the bad cop, more likely the good cop in the scenario.

- As a kit, Primrose'kit would most likely define as a female using she/her pronouns, often bouncing around with joy. She won't really understand the concept of love, rather as a deep friendship and connection with someone around her, and will often use phrases that are platonically flirty without even knowing. An example of this would be her calling her friend “my ray of sunshine” or “my lovely little gift from starclan” or something along the lines of that.

- As an apprentice, Prim will begin to venture more into the neo-pronoun zone, experimenting with ones that she finds cute or silly or adorable, such as she/love or she/dream. She might also define as a demi-girl, or maybe genderfluid? During this period of time, she will begin understanding what love is more and define as platoniromantic, meaning that there is no distinct difference from platonic liking and romantic liking; she might have one or two crushes during this period. She will most likely give them compliments and love it when they spend quality time or give her words of affirmation.

- As a warrior, Rosie will most likely define as a female once more, and use she/lovely/dream pronouns or something along the lines of that. Now, as a warrior, she will begin to feel omniromantic but still platoniromantic. She will not actively seek out a partner or crush, rather being platonically flirtatious with everyone. She will often use words of affirmation or acts of service as her love language, and like to receive words of affirmation or quality time.

ACT EIGHT - CONCLUSION ]

This marks the end of my application for Primrose'kit, I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this and I sincerely hope that I win Prim, though everyone is going to do great as well! Now, let's get you all cleaned up and ready to get back to the Capitol, Effie is going to meet you at the train station, she has so many makeup supplies it's almost comical.
