Is it allowed to link to charity sites?

Based on the Scratch Team's policy of removing links to websites that ask for money, I don't think that would be allowed. Perhaps linking to reputable charities like St. Jude's would be okay, since you wouldn't be asking for money yourself, but I don't know.

If you want a more specific answer and don't mind waiting, you can use the Contact Us link near the bottom of this page to ask the Scratch Team directly.

Depends on which one. Things well-known like St judes might be ok, but lesser known one are probably not

Is it allowed to link to charity sites?

Usually no I would assume. You can put it in the description like “Donate to (name of charity” but not link it, i think that would be fine.

Why would a charity site have a chat?
