Why I believe scratch 4.0 is here already

There's a new block on scratch called the online block, and it detects if your connected to the internet.

<Online?::sensing>

I believe this block has something to do with scratch 4.0, and scratch is going to add more updates soon.

This isn’t a suggestion? Also that was made because it saves money to upkeep the site

Edit: I find it annoying that this was added before EXPONENTS?

There is a reason on why they added that Block also there is no Official release date on When 4.0 will release other than some mention here and there.

It's actually releasing on May 15, 2027, Scratch's 20th anniversary.

they added the block because it saves them money

people would make their own online block using translate blocks
if it translated, user was online. If it didn't translate, user was not online
this cost them money so they made the block

they're most likely just starting to save more money for cla

It may not come out on that exact day, but it is planned for the leadup to it.
