This already exists actually! You can use the undo shortcut, CTRL+Z, and I think you can also right click and press undo.

This isn't actually a signature, because it isn't separated from the actual post. You can set your signature by scrolling to the bottom of the home page and pressing “Change your signature”. It will automatically place your text at the bottom of your posts, as well as putting a thin gray line in between your post and signature.
