Is loading a project into TurboWarp against the new ToS?
11. Prohibited Conduct. BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE NOT TO:
- 6. access, search, or otherwise use any portion of the Service through the use of any engine, software, tool, agent, device, or mechanism (including spiders, robots, crawlers, and data mining tools) other than the software or search agents provided by the Scratch Team;
Edit: I'm talking about loading a Scratch project by pasting the link, which makes it fetch the project from Scratch's servers

It's a different service, they mean hacked editors.

That clause read to me like they just don't want people datamining them.
TurboWarp and stuff should be fine.

I’m not sure. As said earlier, I think this only really applies to datamining, but terms or service use legal language that is often prone to misinterpretation. It’s best to wait for an ST member to respond.

Probably not, but from a legal POV it's better to say “hey, don't do this” than to just hope people keep not doing it.That clause read to me like they just don't want people datamining them.people datamine scratch? i have never heard of this (i've heard of datamining games for early stuff or unused)

Based on this quote, I believe using TurboWarp is not allowed.
However, what hasn't been brought up before is that the old Terms of Use also disallowed TurboWarp. I don't have a quote at the moment, but it's the same section that people frequently claimed was also disallowing the Scratch 2.0 offline editor … or something like that.
Whether or not the Scratch Team plans to enforce some TurboWarp ban is unclear. To my knowledge, they didn't really do it for the past several years, even though the old Terms of Use disallowed it.

Doesn't this still allow using the official Scratch API?
In which case TurboWarp would still be allowed.
other than the software or search agents provided by the Scratch TeamThis seems like the API would be “provided by the Scratch Team”
In which case TurboWarp would still be allowed.

This seems like the API would be “provided by the Scratch Team”But TurboWarp itself is not provided by the Scratch Team.
In which case TurboWarp would still be allowed.

So the Scratch Team can block API access to them whenever they want. This seems like the API would be “provided by the Scratch Team”But TurboWarp itself is not provided by the Scratch Team.
In which case TurboWarp would still be allowed.

So it’s “technically” not allowed, but it’s unlikely that it’ll never be enforced on Turbowarp?
