I would like a feature where you can hide your account and be able to turn it back on.
It would still let you save projects but no interaction with the Scratch community.

This would be perfect for people who want to have a break from scratch

Alright. So the idea I got from this.. what this does is make it so your account page shows an error?

Yeah basically deleting your account but it’s reversible.

It would be useful in some way I can not understand.

i can see why because you might regret doing it but at that point just sign out

This would be good if your working on something and need your account to be invisible for a bit, like if your testing banners or trying to make your account page look nice.

It would also be nice for some people if they want to take a break from scratch but don't want to come back with heap of messages -this is kinda specific, though-.

Having to email the ST to just hide your account for a bit is unnececary, why waste the ST's already limited time when it could just be done at the press of a button.

I feel like this might lead to rumors about people deleting their accounts when they arent actually deleted

If, lets say moss-shadow griffpatch hid their account, some people would think it was a deletion and panic.

Nah, temporarily disabling an account means that logging in is disabled, not the profile of the account
