WarpnixOS
Hi guys, so I’m making a Linux distro in Scratch and Turbowarp called WarpnixOS.
The features I’ve made so far include:
A full web browser (powered by iframe)
Python compatibility (powered by OneCompiler)
Customizable background and profile pic
A settings menu
Power options
I also want to make an App Store, a file manager, and game compatibility, as well as Xbox/Playstation/Switch controller support.
I’ll keep posting updates here. You can find some WIP screenshots here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1260783827/

Please ask questions. I know I sound like I'm begging, but I don't want the Scratch Team to shut this down because nobody is commenting.

Here’s the update! :-)
The default desktop background has been changed to a steel-plate one designed by me, to fit the OS’s overall ‘metallic’ theme.
The web browser has been reprogrammed to be better optimized in the Turbowarp environment. I plan to change it to a downloadable app, similar to Windows 95 and how one would have to download Internet Explorer, and the download size is a puny 50 KB.
The first beta tester has received their devbuild copy, and I’m waiting for feedback from them.
That’s all! See y’all later!

Update
The second beta tester has received their devbuild copy for testing, and has responded with positive feedback.
The logo’s color scheme has been changed.
I’m getting a a more powerful PC soon, so I’ll be able to do more intensity programming with it.
That’s all for now! See y’all later!!

Update!!
So I’ve added a nice little rainbow effect on the taskbar when you hover the mouse over it, it’s not that bright though for people with epilepsy’s sake.
Peripherals settings for keyboard/mouse are partially programmed, and I plan to start making the file system soon.
A couple more things as well:
1: I’ve figured out how people will actually INSTALL the OS. So first, I’ll install Debian in a virtual machine and select so that it only boots into the Terminal (not the desktop), then I’ll install the OS as an electron Linux app, then I’ll command the terminal to ALWAYS boot the app into full screen on startup. Then I’ll use a software called Penguin’s Eggs to create an installable clone of the OS, so that people can actually use it on your computer.
That’s all 4 now!

I’m NOT dead!
So I’ve not had enough time to post, but… I finished the Command prompt baby!!!!
Also I’ve added a boot up system where the OS checks your PC for errors, then ONLY boots if there is none.
Sorry about the hiatus, school is killing me.

But then again, the AI is still in very early development, so maybe I’ll have to put it in 2.0…
