Faster response times/deprecation of automated responses

Hi,
Taphkat here again This is a follow-up to my previous post here where I pointed out some very pressing issues that are, if not illegal, extremely dangerous for the Scratch community and the children in it.
Since I made the mistake of posting multiple suggestions in one post, I am making a single post for this one specifically:
Faster ST response time, and no automated messages for emergency topics. I can't emphasize enough how much better Scratch could be if ST would step in more. This would improve Scratch much more.
I suggest another reporting category labeled “sockpuppetry” “hate speech/predatorial actions/etc.” or whatever phrasing works best, that cannot be automatically replied to, and takes the first priority, in report queues. I understand and acknowledge that ST has a lot to do and can't always work fast, but it's simply dangerous to let these things go. Child safety violations and spreading of CSAM occurs on Scratch more frequently than you would think. The managers have tried and failed to get quick and effective responses from Scratch Team when things like this occur, and it's not just a convenience issue, it's a serious issue. “3 weeks to months” return time in response to spreading of content that could get adults sent to jail is not okay.

Editing Taphkat here. People seem to not be understanding what this is about. If your account was mistakenly banned and you got an automated response, that sucks and I'm sorry. But this is about safety. ST can't reply to everything- I am asking they reply faster to the things that are vital, like this.

For real. One time I was spam followed and wrote to ST about it, and all I got was an automated message a few days later about how I should change my password if I was hacked. I wasn't even hacked??? Did they even read my thing? They never personally respond to anything.

That's honestly more unfortunate than anything </3 Since this wasn't a child safety issue it wouldn't quite fall under that but yeah that's another issue.

Yeah as I said to the ab ove this isnt as pressing as an issue, just unfortunate. The main post is focusing on child safety. To expect st to respond personally to everything is unrealistic

Ye. Also On grifftopia, there are some crazy innapropriate ban speedrunners, I've seen them post gore, slurs, death threats to griffpatch, etc etc, and they get banned of course, but all you need to do is go on grifftopia and chances are one will be there, where anybody can see it

Full support. I get that ST members probably check it as often as they can, but multiple managers and I have sent multiple reports about child safety issues, only to be met with automated responses months later

Support. They need to stop infuriating the community with Membership perks and unnecessary decisions and start doing things that would benefit Scratch.

Just sayin', the membership was made so that they get enough funding to fix these problems

It's not about the membership itself, it's how they are executing it.

What's the problem with the way they're executing it? If you're going to say the perks, they didn't offer perks for the donation and it led to them not having enough to maintain scratch, hence them making a method of stable donation flow with perks as an incentive.

fully support;i know the segment of the scratch team that responds to emails is reaaallly understaffed but these issues are extremely important. the explicit image spam attack or doxxing etc has already happened by the time they respond weeks later, and not much can be done afterwards. adding this along with better bot moderation and other features will greatly reduce the amount of damage these people can do to kids on scratch.
ive seen some baaad stuff on here like worse stuff that ive seen anywhere else and its horrible to think little kids are exposed to that too.i hope at least some kind of change happens in the future.
i know the easy thing to do would be to make an announcement about not talking in chatrooms and reporting as soon as you see it! but actions like these on the scratch team's end would be much more useful and would make a bigger difference on solving these problems.

HUGE SUPPORT. if scratch team genuinely finds their members asking them to do the bare minimum annoying, maybe they should do their jobs and we wouldn’t have to anymore. like i don’t want to be rude but maybe actually do something about the predator and illegal content issues ???
