How to reactivate an old student account?

Hi everyone,

So I have this old student account from about two years ago that I haven't logged into since then. Recently I realised that I have the password autosaved on my laptop, so I tried logging in. However it said that the password was incorrect (most likely because the account has not been active for a while). I know the account has not been deleted because I was able to search it up. I tried pressing the need help button but it asked me to put in either my username or my registered email. The thing is that I don't think I have a registered email (but I'm not 100% sure, it might but I'm not very familiar with student accounts) and I'm not sure what will happen if I type in my username.

Does anyone know what happens if I type in my username, if there is any other way to get back into my account, or do I have to go straight to contact us?

Thanks and I appreciate all your help

If you type in your username, the password reset link would go to the e-mail on file.

Most student accounts are set up up registered with the teacher's e-mail. If that happens to be the case, then the password reset link would be sent to the teacher, and you would need to ask for assistance from the corresponding teacher to get back into the account.
