help with DNA code

Can someone help with this problem? I need to know if you can transfer three letter codes into names for a DNA project i need to make it easier

so, like transferring AAT to its scientific name I don't want to just manually write them out

You can use a key value pair:

(item (item # of [AAT] in [three-letter codes v]) of [scientific names v] :: list)

And make sure that the items in both lists are is the same order, so that the 1st item in three-letter codes is in fact the three-letter code for the 1st item in scientific names, the 2nd item in three-letter codes is the three-letter code for the 2nd item in scientific names, and so on.

There is a problem with this there are more codes than scientific names. 2 codes can be 1 amino acid/scientific name
