Disappearing / Stacked Blocks - Only Text

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 143.0.0.0, No Flash version detected

Hello all, it seems that there is a bug that makes the Scratch editor completely unusable.
I've opened mutliple projects and the blocks are stacked on top of each other, and only show text.
When will this be fixed?

yeah, I am also having this problem..
I cant even see the blocks, all I see is some icons and a peice of jumbled text.
I've tried zooming in to try and see if I'm just really zoomed out, but that seems to not be the case.
I have no idea what this is

It's strange, but thankfully, your projects are safe. Just don't try to drag the blocks, as that may mess them up (?). I don't know for sure, but try exporting the projects to Scratch-3 Offline Editor.

I found out the blocks are all just invisible for some odd reason, which doesnt really explain why connected blocks jumble together, but it could be the block was removed in a sort of way, only leaving text and icons, so the blocks connect to those which leads to the strange spaghetti text
I saw other people talking about this so maybe its happening for everyone

um not everyone, mine is working completely fine.

If you have any browser extensions with the “Cat Blocks” addon enabled, try turning the specific addon off and refreshing the page; that is because of a browser extension bug caused by recent internal changes in Scratch's code, in preparation for Scratch Membership features.

I think there were changes to Scratch that caused cat blocks and other stuff to slightly break. Please disable cat blocks specifically and wait for the next update to your extension to re-enable it

It's so infuriating that people are blaming Scratch for a problem that Scratch didn't create that isn't their fault.

Please calm down and be patient. ˇhere's a PR to fix it if you still want to use cat blocks, so just wait for the next extension update before enabling it again
