cheeseeater

Inspired by the-now-retired Scratch Resources, OpenSprites is a new sharing platform designed for Scratchers to upload their own content, as well as download other's content for free use in their projects. The entire project is open sourced under the MIT license, and our code is available for consumption on GitHub. The project is currently in Beta stages.

I DEFINITELY would help - I'm getting pretty good in PHP/backend (though I don't know about file uploads yet), and of course can do frontend design if any's needed.

However, we'd need a domain and a name.

Same here! I can do PHP and HTML/CSS/JS (ie, both frontend and backend) if required.

I wish I could help, but I just started year 11 in school and I'm already working on another project (a web app using node.js, HTML5, etc) in my spare time.

Well thanks for notifying me of your support guys.

I'm able to stick a subdomain on top of my site for testing the site, however a permanent solution would be found after completion, of course. I'm quite confident using HTML and CSS now, and I'm on my way to learning some JS and PHP. If everyone thinks this is a good idea then we can go ahead once we get more collaborators. We should also think of a name.

I like that name, but we can't use Scratch in the name. I think ReResources is a name already taken too.
How about RebootedResources? It has to be ‘personal’ and unique to Scratch.
