hello! my name is cammie and my pronouns are she/her. i love the shows yellowjackets, derry girls, and alice in borderland. i’m also a huge fan of cats (duh), writing, and sports! feel free to chat with me about anything C:

⋆˙⟡ simplified personality ..

⋆˙⟡ first impression
mems comes off as quiet and soft-spoken, but has a well-liked energy to her. she would make small talk, even if she secretly despised it, and would ask you about your day. she seemingly isn’t afraid to speak her mind, but she was very mild takes and opinions.

⋆˙⟡ close friendship
if you were to be close friends with mems, she would confide in you. however, she would never say as much as others and she keeps her secrets unspoken. she would mostly listen. mems would have inside jokes and giggle and do all the best friend things, but it’s never entirely certain if she’s being genuine.

⋆˙⟡ inside of mems
mems would do anything to appear normal and sincere. even if everything she says is a lie or a half-truth, and everything was gesture of hers is thought out and planned, she wants it to seem authentic. even mems isn’t sure of who the real her is.


⋆˙⟡ personality rambles
⟡ paragraph one;
despite her lack of confidence, she’s quite sassy and snippy to her close friends and family! whether this is the real her or just another facade, we’ll never know.. additionally, she’s a little sarcastic sometimes and that’s her main sense of humor. she finds anything pertaining insincerity hilarious, but she definitely feels guilty about later. it reminds her too much of all of her ‘masks’ to feel funny for long.
⟡ paragraph two;
at heart, memory is just a loner! while she does like to seem well-liked, at the end of the day, she thinks she can only rely on herself she wants others to think of her as super popular and cool and extravagant, but she doesn’t think of herself that way. she really sees others as though they despise her, and thinks her facades are the only ways to be liked. of course, at her core, being liked doesn’t truly matter to her. fitting in does. (imo that’s different from being liked !!!)
⟡ paragraph three;
very two faced in all aspects of her life !!! she displays one side of her, and completely hides the other side away. additionally, she thinks talking bad about others is perfectly fine, and does it all the time. it’s unclear to others whether she does it to get attention or just out of her heart.
⟡ paragraph four;
mem’s close friends are very dear to her! she would stand up for them, even if made ending her performance necessary. however, even her closest friends aren’t sure of her true nature, not until warriorhood at least..
⟡ paragraph five;
elaborating on paragraph one a little more! mems is also pretty silly sometimes :3 she likes to joke around and have a nice laugh, but it’s not totally sincere. she’s just doing it appearances but sometimes she does it out of her heart. she likes to have inside jokes and all of those things, but at the same time, she knows that’s not the true her.

mems is very Girl!! she has her odd little hobbies and secrets and habits and she also likes to be all dolled up and giggle with her friends. she likes any of attempts at normalcy but she also (sometimes) likes her weirdness! she’s just figuring it out okay.. okay?

this girl wants to help people!! she wants them to realize that nothing really matters, no why not live the way they want to? of course, mems doesn’t exactly practice the way she preaches (but no one has to know right.. right?).

⟡ basics ;
- memory’s name would be emily and she would go by emmy or ems
- she would be nationally american or british and ethnically māori and french
- her pronouns would remain she/her and she would still identify as a cisgender girl
⟡ ems / memory would dress pretty neatly for the majority of her life. i could definitely imagine her a huge fan of brandy melville and hollister, on the weekends, she would dress much differently. i could see her wearing long dresses and maxi skirts then.
⟡ she would have two piercings on each ear, but she would hardly let them heal before taking them out.
⟡ i’d imagine that her family ‘has resources’ and is pretty well off, but mem has a weird mixture of expensive, luxury items and cheaper things. maybe due to her parents’ partial neglect, or due to her own preferences.
⟡ she has a plaid jansport backpack with an odd assortment of items. she’ll have the nicest color pencils jumbled around with small plastic pencil sharpeners, all in a ziplock bag. she would keep her things orderly from the first glance, but all messy if you looked for more than a moment or two.

⋆˙⟡ plot rambles
⟡ idea one ; the latchkey kid

due to gloamingveil’s (somewhat) lack of interest in training mems, she will let herself be free of any burdens in childhood.
she will build forts and treehouses, get her paws dirty making mud cakes, and weave a ridiculous amount of flower crowns.

this is before she developed her insecurities around the way she is perceived, and it might be one of the times she felt the freest, maybe ever. she will constantly chase this high in apprenticeship and early warriorhood, desperately wanting those times back. although she felt feral and somewhat lonely back then, she will miss it dearly. she’d chase cats who gave her a glimpse back into that time, retrospectively, a time of nostalgia and joy.

assuming she would move to windclan, she’d find her hunting and sparring skills severely underdeveloped. even though she might’ve fished in a few streams, it meant nothing compared to rem’s extensive training. this would further push her need to fit in, and she’d ’fake it till she made it’ and appeared confident in her skills. this would further fuel her insecurities and feelings of “weirdness”, not to mention mems wanting her life without insecurity back.

⟡ idea two ; all dolled up

while rem was doing her training, mems would become very obsessed with appearing normal and having her family life seem ordinary. she would want good appearances, even physical ones.

she would dig up lilies and daffodils from other yards and plant them in her own. she would also tie ribbons wherever she could, to symbolize how nice and orderly things were.

despite to all of her free time that she desperately tried to fill, there was always time in the day leftover. mems would daydream about different times. in the meantime, she would try to change her appearance to look like she was living a life she wanted. she would swipe accessories from open windows and pick flowers and leaves she liked from other lawns.

nothing really mattered if she was bored all the time, so why couldn’t she do whatever? there was no one stopping her.
