I need help with a top down movement system that detects walls (color black). I've watched Griffpatches Top Down Movement Tutorial before but I don't like how tedious it is to have something move with the background. I have two variables that change the positioning of the map (ChangeX, ChangeY) and pushing WASD makes the map move. All I need now is a way to tell whether or not the player is touching a wall and have them collide with it.
