A Downloadable Certificate when you become a Scratcher
When you become a Scratcher, you sometimes really want a certificate. Being a Scratcher shows that you are a certified “scratcher”, and when I became a Scratcher, I wanted a certificate. Well now, with the Downloadable Certificate when you become a Scratcher, you can print out and frame the certificate in your room. When your friends come to your house they will see the Certificate on your wall and they'll think “Cool, they code! I didn't know they had a Scratch Account. Maybe we can collaborate? Or follow eachother! ^^” So please give High Support and please give all people who are a Scratcher right now (if you add this @Scratchteam) a certificate as welll. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, becoming a Scratcher isn't really an achievement. It does not necessarily show that the user has improved their programming skills.

Anyways, I agree with you.. but it would be cool to have.
To OP, I don't think your scenario will occur.

No support. When you become a Scratcher, it isn’t really a title. It doesn’t mean you are a certified Scratcher, it just means you verified an account, posted a few projects, and maybe commented a few times. You become a Scratcher once you have enough activity. I honestly don’t find this certificate worthy, and I also don’t think the scenario is likely to occur.

Guys… I get that it doesnt show like a coding progress or so… But I feel like it would be really cool and motivating if I was new to Scratch and after reaching Scratcher status getting a downloadable certificate!

Why is everyone no-supporting this? It's not as if Scratch is gonna force you to download it - if you want it, it's there, otherwise, click the X button (on the possible pop-up giving you the certificate) and continue with your day
So yeah, support as people would like getting certificates for being a Scratcher for the reasons mentioned earlier and like I mentioned earlier, if you don't want it, just close the pop-up and move on
And about letting current Scratchers get the certificate, just put it in Account Settings to be downloaded at any time

So true! It's not like scratch is going to immediately download a PDF on your computer when you become a scratcher!

A Downloadable Certificate when you become a Scratcher
Support! A downloadable certificate for becoming a Scratcher would be such a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the milestone. It’s not just a cool reward - it could also be useful for school projects, portfolios, or even just to show friends and family what you've achieved.
As someone who values recognition and motivation in learning, I think this would add a great personal touch to the Scratch experience. I give this suggestion my full support and hope the Scratch Team considers it seriously. It’s a small addition that could make a big impact for new Scratchers!

Not that I disagree with the statement, but at least take a minute or 2 to write it yourself

A Downloadable Certificate when you become a Scratcher
No support. I only see problems adding this.
1. Bragging
With this certificate, people would be able to brag to other new scratchers for a lot of things - such as how they got it faster than others. Say that isn't a problem? Read this, directly from The Official List of Rejected Suggestions:
2. Rejected
This isn't actually rejected surprisingly, but I feel like the following reasons should match:
3. Opinions
I also agree to these statements below:
In conclusion, no support. This is also too similar to 8.8 in TOLoRS, so I doubt it will be added anytime soon.
Also, no, this is NOT written with AI, I just like using proper grammar.
1. Bragging
With this certificate, people would be able to brag to other new scratchers for a lot of things - such as how they got it faster than others. Say that isn't a problem? Read this, directly from The Official List of Rejected Suggestions:
8.2 Add a rank above Scratcher or allow users to skip the New Scratcher status
There are three ranks: New Scratcher, Scratcher, and Scratch Team. The only reason the New Scratcher rank exists is to prevent spam, and since it only takes a few weeks to become a Scratcher, bullying and separation are rather minimal. Similarly, the Scratch Team rank exists so users know who is on the Scratch Team; note that Scratch Team members do not brag about the Scratch Team rank. In contrast, there may be division in the community between Scratchers and those with a higher rank, which could also lead to bragging and bullying. This also includes a “verified Scratcher” status where well-known Scratchers get a special symbol next to their name; for more information in the case where a Scratcher is famous outside of Scratch, see this post.
2. Rejected
This isn't actually rejected surprisingly, but I feel like the following reasons should match:
8.8 Scratch achievementsWhich also contains the bragging as bolded/listed above.
Some users have suggested Scratch achievements such as “Created 50 projects” with the idea that this would give users motivation to keep using Scratch. However, this sort of idea does not really fit in with the purpose of Scratch. Some users may use their achievements to determine that they are “better” than other users. However, you are allowed to make achievements in your own games, if you like.
3. Opinions

BUT
about 1, you can brag that you got the Scratcher title earlier than others anyway
and about 2 - wait, i can make the same point here too
but to be fair, i don't have an argument against 3
also, most people can tell that that isn't ai

technically you can call becoming a scratcher an achievement, does that mean we should remove the New Scratcher and Scratcher system? Because all this post is really asking for is to have an optional PDF file you can download when you become a Scratcherand about 2 - wait, i can make the same point here tooI guess you forgot…Some users have suggested Scratch achievements such as “Created 50 projects” with the idea that this would give users motivation to keep using Scratch. Support. Scratch is literally a website for children and a png of just saying “congrats on being a scratcher!” would be nice, because once again, scratch is directed towards children (it helps add to the playful welcomeness of scratch) and becoming a scratcher is difficult for some people, and it genuinely confuses me on the fact some people are saying no over a PNG saying congrats and pulling up unrelated rejected suggestions to block this from being added. Simply a PNG congratulating people on becoming a scratcher is not that bad. Also, I don’t think anyone is going to brag over getting a PNG. People can still brag over becoming a scratcher, so adding a png congratulating you won’t change anything tbh.
