so scratch just announced a new membership, right? which includes exclusive perks, but I've been looking through all these discussions, and every other idea proposed like this membership was turned down because “scratch is for everyone” or something like that, yet, the perks in this membership is blocked behind a paywall, so I'm confused, will these ideas also be added, or, that statement doesn't apply to scratch?

The membership doesn't give significant advantages over non-paying scratchers, which is why it's there.

more significantly, it has absolutely nothing to do with the Scratch community itself - the membership only has IRL/offline editor benefits (so like, no “I'm a member” badge on your profile or anything, as far as I know), so there is not really an advantage!
