Hey guys. I've been wondering: when will Scratch shut down or get discontinued? My first instincts were around 2026-2028, due to the number of moderation issues and other negative stuff on a kids website. Please let me know what you think.

Not gonna happen anytime soon. The most solid argument for this is the development and eventual release of Scratch 4.0.

It won't, at least as far as we can tell.

As previously stated, 4.0 is in development, so it's not likely to happen anytime soon. Besides, it's already lasted quite awhile- you don't have to worry at all.
