No support. Scratch is a non-profit and you need money to use ChatGPT Tokens. Plus, the whole inappropriate thing.

This suggestion did not say anything about ChatGPT. It only suggested AI which could be anything. No support. Scratch is a non-profit and you need money to use ChatGPT Tokens.
This is true, it does need a filter. Plus, the whole inappropriate thing.

I don't think we need generative AI on Scratch— it's like every single service is hopping onto this train for some reason. I don't like saying “it's unnecessary”, but come on, it really is.

no support, the moderation could be easily broken, and it's too costly for a non-profit site. We could use an AI block

also, why would it even be necessary? big companies are implementing AI into everything they can for absolutely no reason. for example: kahoot did this with their new AI quiz creation feature, and more recently, even minecraft did this with their new AI chatbot, Merl (and failed miserably imo). it looks like the type of thing that people would ask for, and when it would actually be implemented, people would forget that it exists in a couple of weeks and just move on.

Every suggestion's unnecessary. If it's necessary then it's a bug report. - someone else I don't think we need generative AI on Scratch— it's like every single service is hopping onto this train for some reason. I don't like saying “it's unnecessary”, but come on, it really is.

scratch just doesn't work like that. There is no reason anyone, EVER, in a code would be asking AI a question. This suggestion has nothing to do with scratch. There are 0 uses for this.
