It seems like all cloud variable projects are just down. I can modify cloud vars in my own projects but not anyone else's (i.e if I visit griffpatch's cloud platformer it will always put me in an empty game even if there are other players online.) Attempting to access the cloud monitor page just gets you an infinite loading spinner. In true modern Scratch fashion, this pulling of the plug was done was done with no advance warning and there has been no official statement.

Come mourn what is totally and certainly the permanent death of one of Scratch 2.0's greatest* features. Cloud vars, we hardly knew ye.

I have no idea yet, as this exact thing happened in previous years

It could just be an outage. I doubt they would pull the plug in the servers with out announcing it and removing the option in the editor

Yea, I feel like this is what's happening. The topic linked was also stickied, and the Scratch Team never said that it was being removed when doing so

the cloud server is just returning 502 Bad Gateway, see https://clouddata.scratch.mit.edu/ - sounds like a typical server problem to me

I have been a Scratcher for 2 weeks now and for some reason cloud vars don't work for me i even made a test where you just click a sprite and it changes a cloud var by 1 (simple i know lol) but it still didn't work. are the servers just not working or am I just not doing anything right ? pls help i wanna make a multiplayer game soon
