I see many topics asking for new fonts (as in preset fonts) and something I just thought of is that instead of not only having the preselect fonts, but also having a button to upload your own font to use in the project.

Support, I find the current fonts very limiting when I want to make a specific type of project.

I think they should add more fonts into Scratch to. however, scratch is so big already, that some devices can't open it. the scratch team probably does not want that.

Im not asking for more preselect fonts, im asking for the ability to add your OWN fonts.

I though you can just download fonts, and use them.

I thought you can just download fonts, and use them.

That depends on the font. Some fonts have you download the font file them and use them whilst others have you write what you want in the font and then download your text. Im suggesting this though because not only would you be able to use file only fonts but also some schools may have websites like those blocked.

This is already a feature in Turbowarp and I think it was done well there, I think it would work similarly to how it works in Turbowarp

Full support, it's already becoming annoying to me. first i have to make my own font as a spritesheet, import it, and copy-paste each letter individually. having the option to import your own font would leave writing text for my projects a lot easier

Just to be clear, it is per project, right? Not a permanent addition to (your own personal) fonts? Would people who remixed or used “see-inside” be able to access these as well? Could they download them off the page and use them for themselves as well?

1: No, it’s not permanent. It’s just a option to upload your font
2: Yea? It’s in the project and it’s viewable so it can be editable, right?
3: Also, yes. Like every other font in scratch projects they can be backpacked/downloaded

support, would be very useful to not have to maek fonts ourselves
