Cloud variable issues...

Honestly, I think they should try to come up with a more “consistent” solution. Cloud variables is okay, but they tend to have issues.

The only alternative we have for now is using something like a long string of text/value's to store save data, aka Save Codes.

Maybe perhaps a 3rd method should add the ability to use some sort of local storage, or something.. It would be sort of like save codes, I guess, but you wouldn't be required to copy/paste a long string of text. It would be like a save file from a scratch project you load strait from your PC, or something to return to progress in a big scratch game.

cloud variables appear to not work at all, ive tried refreshing multiple times and the cloud logs dont get updated neither does the global variable even though im manually modifying the cloud variable

I tried to add one to my baseball game and it only updates my data not other users. 74 people have played it so it can't be that no one else was singed in.

The Global cloud servers are not updating at all even when i remake the variables they dont send any data at all

Sorry, the service that I was using to update the thumbnail of the project no longer works, and cloud variables seem like they've been up for a while so I hoped it would be fine.

That's typical…. Programs that make updates only to break other things.

Well we have other cloud checking projects anyway, so I guess it's all good. :-/

Idk if this is unrealated but now when i join a cloud multiplayer game, it dosen't detect me as a real player!

Somtimes cloud varaibles work, the way i test it is by opening the cloud varaible tab and if it loads thats how i know cloud varaiblies are working again, but then they go back down eventually like a loop idk if its the same for computers and stuff, am on mobile.
