I’ve been thinking about something that parents might want in Scratch 4.0: more parental controls



I’ve seen some images floating around that people are saying could be part of the next update. I know they’re not official, but they’ve got me curious!




















































































What do you all think? Would you like to see real parental controls in Scratch 4.0?

Please discuss dark mode on the existing suggestions topic; Questions about Scratch is designed for polls about whether others would like a feature to be added. We also don't even know if there are going to be any changes to the editor or interface besides the CLA in 4.0.

Also, I don't know if it's a good idea to be posting so many of these “screenshots”. As you said, they aren't official so others who see this topic might believe they are official and share them around the site - which wouldn't be good because that would be spreading misinformation.

No need to apologize really or feel the need to be discouraged. They’re just trying to get you put in the right place and there’s already an existing topic that touches what you’re suggesting.

Well I'm just asking if it will come? Im not suggjesting anything I'm also curius if AI will come to the discussion forums to.

We're likely not going to know until the Scratch Team releases or announces they will release it (if they do at all).

Same goes for the AI on the forums.

But still, the scratch team has to approve if it is a feature.

Well, I don't know where you heard it was a leak. Please don't twist my words into something I didn't say. Ited be pretty cool if this were real though, hopefully it will be better than this
