It doesn't highlight the specific word that got filtered, as that could unintentionally expose people to inappropriate words and the meanings of them. ( For example, if a child misspelled a word and saw a profane term highlighted, they might become curious and go investigating the meaning of it )

Let's not discuss this here. In that context, it's inappropriate because of social media slang. I would advise you not to use the word again or find child-friendly alternatives (even though I probably would agree with the context).
