There should be a thing where you can tick a box to mark a message as read because sometimes when you read messages, it still has a messages number showing which sometimes is completely random. It would also be nice if there was a button that says “Mark all messages as read”.

If you open your mail, it already automatically marks all your messages as “read” and the message count is reset.

However currently there's a glitch, where your messages counter may display ghost messages, not new ones.

Sometimes it dosen't reset and it shows random numbers .

it's not random, it's the amount of messages prior to your most recent click on the messages page i think

Yeah, I also think that sometimes, if you go to a different page on scratch, it can show a different number.
